Our second edition Summer Art Competition is here!
My name is Kate Kasinska. I’m the owner of local online company called Ryhter Oak.
My daughter Nika and I came up with an amazing idea.
We are continuing a new Crieff tradition, a summer art competition for kids and teenagers 6-11 and 12-16.
This year’s theme is “The humble yet majestic Heilan Coo”
This time we’d love to see photos of this beautiful Scottish symbol.
This contest was inspired by my daughter Nika who loves animals, drawing and painting . She’s also a keen photographer hence this year’s idea for photos. Being creative gives her immense joy. I feel we all should promote creativity and encourage our children to develop new skills.
I believe it’s a fantastic project, great way to showcase local talent and see our lovely town through the eyes of our children and teenagers.
Rules:
Competition will begin on the 1st of July and will end on the 31st of August.
There’s two age groups : 6-11 and 12-16.
This time we’d love to see photos.

with child’s name, age, contact number and e-mail address.
The jury will consist of Kate Kasinska Ryhter Oak owner and John-James Greig owner of JJGreig Photography.
The prize is:
Age group 6-11
1st prize is amazing photo session (three free photos)
2nd prize is fantastic £50 voucher that can be used in Fun Junction The Toy Stop
3rd prize is great £30 voucher that can be used in Fun Junction The Toy Stop
Age group 12-16
1st prize is amazing one hour lesson or photoshoot
2nd prize is fantastic photo session (three free photos)
3rd prize is framed print of a highland cow
